So I have a fun recipe for you. Who doesn't like pizza??? This homemade crust is so fast, you can make it faster than a frozen pizza or takeout. It tastes better too!
This pizza is a garden pizza. Let me tell you how I made it.
Start with the crust. I love this recipe. To the dough, add 2 teaspoons fennel seed, 1 teaspoon dried oregano and 1 teaspoon dried garlic. Yummy!
Add sauce. My favorite sauce is made by mixing equal parts of Contadina tomato sauce and Mezzetta Homemade Style Marinara.
Then add cheese. I used baby swiss and provolone.
Finally add your toppings. My mom gave me these heirloom tomatoes from her garden. They are very mild and sweet. Any fresh tomato would be great. Finally I added a little basil from my garden.
I cooked this pizza for about 25 minutes at 450 degrees. If you can resist, let it cool a little before slicing and eating. Happy Thursday!
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 Peter 1:3
Love,
xoxo
