Behind the Scenes at Lilac Lane: Meet Audrielle

I'm so happy to introduce you to my assistant today. Audrielle has become a lifesaver around here! She is about the sweetest person you'll ever meet.

 

Here are her own words: 

Hey Everyone!

I'm a 25 year old stay at home wifey to an amazing man and a Mommy to an (almost) 3 year old girly-girl. I love making ugly or plain things pretty whether it be outside in my shady corner lot yard or trying to make a thrifted blouse into a dress for my daughter in my cozy basement sewing room.

I taught myself to sew through Youtube and online tutorials after having my daughter; there is just something so obviously special about handmade items that no store could give me. I tend to be drawn more towards Children and baby clothes. 

 

I think everyone makes their own art somehow or someway and I consider mine to be my sewing projects. My blog (http://pinsneedleskids.blogspot.com/) was made simply because I felt like I was driving my non sewing/crafter friends crazy on Facebook with all my project posts and needed a place to share my triumphs and failures in sewing. 

 

I am so happy to be helping Melissa out, I just love her patterns and love to be around all of you and this sewing community!
