I have quite a bit of fabric coming in, but it hasn't made it here yet, so I'll count it next week. However, I bought 4 1/4 yards to give away this week and 1/2 yard to finish a project for a Dozen Quilters, my online charity quilting bee.
I have one week, one week to make Emilie's Easter dress. Oh my goodness! I will get it done though, God willing. I thought I had ordered the nylon chiffon, but it never came. So I went back and looked and I must have forgotten to push send
Can you believe we had a blizzard this week? About a foot of snow, school was cancelled, and I-70 was closed. Oh and 60 miles per hour wind (that's 97 kph for those of you overseas). There were 4 foot high drifts because of all that wind. That was Friday. And yesterday? 71 degrees. Crazy, I tell you.
Here is my pretty peach tree before the storm (as it was coming in):
Used this week: 7 1/2 yards
Used year to date: 72 5/8 yards
Fabric bought this week: 4 3/4 yards
Fabric bought year to date: 55 3/4 yards

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. - 1 Corinthians 1:18

I trade sewing for personal training so i also have to make two more dresses for her girls.
And there you are worrying about one little dress.
I've done the same thing and wondered why a package wasn't arriving. DUH!!! Good luck getting it finished. I know you can do it.
ReplyDeleteA birthday and blo anniversary in the same week???? How special for you!
I hope that the storm didn't kill your peach crop for the year! I really wish I had a peach tree, too.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the Easter dress.
