The Three Musketeers

First they wanted to be a rock star, Cinderella, and Daniel Boone. Then somehow the 3 Musketeers got thrown around. Last week, I told them to finalize their decisions and last Thursday, I started sewing. Here is the result! A unique musketeer costume for each child, which hopefully reflects each personality. I think it does! Plus they had so much fun trick-or-treating together.
 They did their Musketeer poses.
And then acted like they always do!
 They also carved their pumpkins.
Anna's costume is based on Corinne (Barbie) from Barbie and the Musketeers.
I made them up, except for the hats where I loosely followed Leisel's tutorial. Boy the hats were hard.

Emilie's costume loosely follows Viveca from Barbie and the Musketeers.
 LOVE the long cape!
And Nathan is a more traditional musketeer. I took inspiration from this movie.
So it was a labor of love. Nathan got a little bit worried that he wouldn't get a costume, but it all worked out just right.
They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. Psalm 19:10

Love,
