Schoolhouse Series

This is my last Quilt Market post. Are you ready to get back to my normal postings? Anyway, the day before the market opens, there is a fun day called the Schoolhouse Series. The people who design fabrics, patterns, notions, etc teach them. Basically it's a full day of 15 and 30 minute sessions and you get to choose which ones you go to.

Jane Sassaman's new collection. She's on the right and my friend Melissa P is in the middle.

Verna Mosquera, a designer for Free Spirit.

Michael Miller fabrics.

Modern Quilt Relish, pattern designers. These were really fun ladies.

Lecien fabric.

My friend Thomas Knauer, of Andover fabric.

Jo Morton (on the right) for Andover Fabric. She's a sweetheart.

More of Jo's Amazing Quilts!!!

Lonni Rossi for Andover Fabrics. She designed a gorgeous quilt.

She had me model an apron for her.

Kathy Hall, art designer for Andover Fabric is on the left. David Weinstein, the president, is next to her. This quilt is made from the John Hewson collection. Kathy redrew it from museum samples of his work. He is the first known American printer and I think the collection is amazing.

Love,
xoxo
