This is a really fun row to make. It has a little flap all around the black that gives it a 3D element. And here is my row. I chose to use black for the background. I've never, ever used black before! But I sure had fun with it. For the entire quilt, I bought three yards of Moda Bella solid black and ended up using about 2 1/2 yards of it. Not to worry, the other 1/2 yard made it into the back. Then for the colors, I picked pink and green, and used all fabrics from my stash. I hate to admit it, but I still have quite a few pinks and greens left! You can choose any colors you wish, including a rainbow or even just one or two individual prints with some solids. Or all solids. Or no solids. Really the sky's the limit. And I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.
