Back in the 1930s

My family had a great opportunity last weekend. We were asked to be in the cast of a documentary called Harvesting the High Plains. It's a film about how Colby, Kansas was changed from the dust bowl to the bread basket of America. This documentary will be shown at a few film festivals, including Sundance and Tribeca, and then will premier here in Colby this fall. Then it is slated to be shown in 2012 on every PBS in the USA. How exciting, huh? I know people who have moved to LA to be in movies and here we are in the tiniest of towns and this just falls in our laps.

Love,
xoxo

  6. Super cool. And, like Amy said, reminds us when it's on PBS. What an awesome thing for your kids to be involved in, too!
