Introducing the Joy Bag

Here it is: the Joy Bag!!! A versatile purse in two sizes with two different strap lengths. You can choose to make it with or without a stripe, with or without a zippered interior pocket. It's roomy and not too hard. If you've made a bag before, this one's for you. If you've never made a bag before but have sewing experience, you can do this one too.

This seems like a great time to thank my patterns testers: Jenny, Leisel and Christy. They were wonderful! A special thank you to Christy, who happens to be my sister. Every time I revised and needed someone to remake it, she always volunteered and had it done within a day or two. I couldn't do it without you guys!

Be sure to visit QuiltWoman.com to order this pattern. Or ask your local quilt store to order it!

Once again, the covers that didn't quite make it. It was a beautiful day, so I set my camera on a little table and shot these. My model niece couldn't come that day, but since there was no wind, and it doesn't happen very often here, I stepped in and sucked in as much as possible. :) A few days later, my niece got her chance too.

Love,
xoxo
