First up is Lee of Freshly Pieced. She is currently finishing up a sewalong for the Supernova quilt which is SO super cute. But today we are going to show off her Single Girl quilt.
Lee says, "This is a king-size quilt from Denyse Schmidt's Single Girl pattern, which turned out to be fun, challenging, and maddening all at the same time. The rings are made up of 640 pieces that I created by tracing around templates and cutting out by hand! So the templating and cutting was ridiculously time-consuming. But it ended up being worth all the time and effort, I just love the finished product.
The fabric is mostly Cherish Nature by Deb Strain, with a little Neptune by Tula Pink and Al Fresco by Marcus Brothers mixed in, as well as a few other scraps. The circle quilting was done by a talented long-arm quilter at my local quilt shop."
Lee, thanks so much for letting us show off your quilt! I hope you all visit Freshly Pieced and check out the inspiration!
Love,
xoxo
