Heather Bailey has a cute little free pattern on her blog right now. It makes a tiny tray or cupcake holder or jewelry holder. I decided to make them for the kids for Valentines Day.
Her tray is 3x 3x 1inch high. I changed mine to be 6 x 6 x 2 inches high. This will let my kids do something useful with them like organize! We've been on a kick like that lately.
The pattern is a little bit difficult, but once you get the hang of it, they go together quickly. To make this size of tray, increase your fabric squares to 11 inches and your thin cardboard pieces to 6x6, and four 2x6. Have fun!
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— 1 Corinthians 2:9
