Sunday Stash Week 4

Well it's Sunday again. I have little to report. Nothing in, nothing out -- well I finished up some projects but they were already cut out last week. The main thing that impeded sewing was a big flood! Monday my kids came upstairs from our basement and said it was raining in the basement. Thank goodness they had decided to play down there. Our washing machine had gone out and I was on my third load of the day. All that water dumped from upstairs where the washer was to the basement. Luckily, the damage wasn't too bad. But now I'm waiting for a new machine and will be doing lots of laundry when it comes sometime this week. I took the opportunity to paint my laundry room and "make my life beautiful." Also I got the bug and ended up redecorating my living room as well. Pictures soon.

Used this week: 0 yards
Used year to date: 14 yards
Added this week: 0 yards
Added year to date: 7 yards

See how everyone else did here.
Love,
xoxo

Sorry about your washer!

Our brand new dishwasher leaked when we hooked it up the other day. I've been without a dishwasher for a couple of months now...through surgery and everything else...GRRR!

Hope you get your washing machine soon. I know what happens at my house if I don't do laundry regularly, lol.

Yikes...sorry about the washer. I'm glad that it didn't cause any serious or super expensive damage to your home!!! That photo of winter is lovely :) :) :) Oh, wanted to say thank you for all your emails. I do get them and read every one :) :) Thank you so much :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :) :) :)

p.s. Redecorating is addicting, isn't it? :) :) Definitely post those pics :) :)

What a great attitude! Yes, I have laundry piling up...but I get to paint the laundry room! Spoken like a true "homemaker". I know that some may not like that word because it has come to mean something negative in today's world but isn't a dirty word,to me it is someone who loves to take care/decorate her home so all that live there or visit there is comfortable there. Thanks for the great attitude again!

Ooh! Melissa.... I remember the day I walked around the corner and found steam rolling up the staircase! Hot water heater had blown out a seam and 40 gallons of hot water was everywhere! And yes, it WAS a great opportunity to really deep clean the basement! Three weeks after we got the new water heater, it ruptured (defective) but at least there was a lot less 'stuff' down there to soak it up!! Have fun painting!
