Purse week has kicked off and here is my entry. Since it's for me, I wanted the design to be just right. My old purse had about 9 pockets and I could never find anything! So I put a pocket on the back of the purse specifically for my cell phone, a zippered one inside for lipstick and such and an unzippered one inside for things you throw in your purse like keys. It's really big, but not too big and I gusseted all around the bag so it's very roomy. Then I put a zipper across the top. I'm always bending over to wipe a nose or tie and shoe and then everything falls out of my purse. This is a great solution for me. I used some Joel Dewberry home dec weight that I've been saving forever. It's perfect for this bag! I lined it in some new Quilt Soup stuff that I absolutely love and then I interfaced everything with extra firm sew-in stabilizer. In the bottom, I used three layers. I had to go use my mom's old Bernina to sew through all the layers at some parts. Those Bernina's will sew through anything!

Love,
xoxo
