Sundress Tutorial Anyone?

Thank you all so much for your prayers! And to Katie who offered me her home in Denver. Wow! I'm overwhelmed. But you didn't leave an e-mail address, Katie. We were okay though. My cousin Marie came to Denver and we entertained kids together. As far as my father-in-law, he made it through his first round of chemo with flying colors. His cancer is very bad. They did a PET scan, and it is just everywhere. Heart, lungs, everywhere. Fortunately, this kind of cancer is particularly susceptible to chemo. The doctors told us to pray, and you know that's a bad sign (we already were of course.) That's because he has so very much cancer everywhere that when it gets killed all those toxins released can just clog up everywhere and kill you. His kidneys are already bad, so it's just hard for him to get rid of the cancer. However, he didn't even get sick from chemo. He has a great appetite and says he feels God healing him. We are praying he will be able to come home for a bit before the next round of chemo starts.

Do you remember the Summer Sun by Riley Blake fabric from my last giveaway? Well, I just love that line. In fact I love it so much that I became an instructor for Riley Blake's Cutting Corners blog. And my first tutorial is on now with sundresses! They're easy, I promise. You'll have to make them and then add your pics to the Lilac Lane flickr group. Whoo hoo! Riley Blake has the most beautiful trims too. I used pompoms here but recently also used their velvet ricrac. It's so beautiful.
