A little update: The blur in the photos is not a spot on my camera lens. These pictures are purposely blurred where my fabric is shown. Sorry for the confustion!
Hello! We are back from Market and tired but so happy. It was a dream of mine to attend that show. There's so much to say. My fabric was extremely well received. Just an answer to prayer. Nothing is in concrete yet, but I'll keep you posted. So, now for some blurry but star-studded photos. Here's me meeting with the sweet ladies of Fine Lines fabric. They're a new company but I was drawn to them and their out-loud faith in God.
The precious Sandi Henderson of Portabellopixie. We bought her new book and let me tell you, it's worth every penny.
I ran into Ari and Captain Hotpants of Buttercuppity. How cool is that? She's even hilarious in real life.
Here's Marie, Christy and I with Amy Butler. She is so nice in person. We told her we could be her groupies.
Anna Maria Horner signed my book! She was so nice too. Actually everyone was.
Here's Christy and I at the Minneapolis train station. That was so fun. We took it to the Mall of America. Do you think we could convince Colby to build one of those?
Okay. Here's our group. Christy, Lisa and Marie.
To die for!!!!! I am totally blowing up Heather and me for my wall. (You all know she's my favorite, right?) She didn't have a booth, but Marie spied her and I sort of stalked her down. I swear I'm not a stalker, but, come one it was Heather Bailey!
Here's Christy and I with Valori Wells.
Oh. Here's Anna Maria's booth. Sorry my pictures are out of order.
And here is Patty Young and her pretty booth. She was really sweet too.
Here she is again.
Here's the Riley Blake booth. It really stood out to me.
And here's the Pillow and Maxfield booth. These ladies were so very nice. Plus, they're Kansas girls and I always love their fabric.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phillippians 4:6-7
(I repeated this over and over to myself throughout the show. But truly, it was like a dream. I kept waiting to wake up and still have a huge pile of fabric that needed to be sewn into samples.)
Love,
xoxo

cutest blurs ever! seriously, you are adorable and I'm so excited to see what you've created and who's picking it up for mass marketing.
Oh my! Melissa, how precious was the Lord. I did pray and knew that you were going to have a blast going up and down the isles. Did you ever think you would see so much? I always enjoyed the way the booths were decorated.
Still praying that the Lord will open up the door real wide for you!
Glad you are safe at home. Keep in touch!
Blessings, Linda
