In my version, there is lots and lots of eyelet. In fact, if you live around Colby, I'm very sorry but you probably won't be able to find any. I literally bought all of Colby, Goodland and much of Hays out. It takes that much. But, the good news it, you don't have to put the eyelet on. It doesn't even suggest it in the pattern. I also added lots of ribbon and lots of pink, pink, pink for Anna.
Awhile back, Heather Bailey was giving this bag pattern away if you bought a little fabric. Of course, I did! It's called the Smarty Jane Book Bag. Isn't it cute? Anna plans to hold all her Valentines in it. And Easter eggs, the last I heard. If you're thinking about buying it, the bag is super easy and took about an hour to make. It's lined, which I really appreciate.
The Nie Nie skirt is not for the faint of heart. Yards and yards of ruffling. It took me a week and you all know that I'm a one day project girl!
I was going to make one for Emilie, but I think I'll make her something a bit different. Maybe this bag from Prairie Flower Farm. And this skirt from Dana at MADE.
