an Apron for a Princess

I decided my store needs some of my children's aprons, since I sent all I had to Destination Kitchen in Norton. So, here's the first one. I've been wanting to make a child's version of my traditional apron. It came out SOOOOO cute!

It's nice and full and I love the bow.

Two pockets and rickrack around the neck. So here's the problem: Anna doesn't want to give it up! And yes, she already has an aporn. I'm going to have to sneak it to my store.
Don't forget to tell me about your sewing machine!
Love, Melissa

I sew with an old Bernina from the 60's (avacodo green and everything). It was given to me just out of high school and continues to do the trick. You should see about getting a Bernina. They seem to hold up really well.

Cute apron, and princess too!

Christy is right, Bernina is the Cadillac of sewing machines and they are very well built. Some day I would like to have the one with the wider throat since I'll probably never own a quilting machine. For now I still sew on a Kenmore, my second one and have owned for about 6 years. The previous one lasted me for nearly 30 years. Good luck in your quest. One more thought: Sew Mama Sew did a similar survey, you might check out that blog site.
