a New Bag Times Two

My cousin Marie is such a sweetheart. We both like to sew and she always buys patterns, which she offers to me without my even asking. Thank you Marie! She sent me an e-mail link to this pattern which is free from fabric.com. (link) If you do download it, I would change a couple of things up to make it easier for you. E-mail me if you want to make it. This one is in Amy Butler's Daisy Chain fabric.

Then she loaned me a new Amy Butler pattern called The Swing Bag. Isn't it cute? It's fully reversible and comes with instructions for the tie, which can be a bow on the handle or just tied on OR used as a head scarf or around your neck. Also could be a belt if you made it as long as she suggests. I did not, and it's a bit short, but I didn't want to go shop for more fabric. The tie is from Amy Butler's Daisy Chain line. The bag shown here is Heather Bailey's PopGarden.
